INTRODUCTION	Internal audits are vital for ASD organizations to assess the effectiveness of their Aerospace Quality Management Systems periodically, as per AS91XX standards. This internal auditor course caters to both new auditors and those needing a refresher, focusing on performing internal audits to AS9100D standards based on AS9101F and ISO 19011. Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of the latest revisions of AS9100 and learn tools to efficiently prepare and conduct 1st and 2nd party audits to AS9100D requirements. The course utilizes interactive learning methods, engaging participants in detailed reviews of AS9100, covering key changes relevant to AS 91XX standards such as Configuration management, Product safety, Counterfeit parts, Suspected Unapproved Parts, Externally provided services, Operational risk management, Process approach, and Risk-based thinking. Upon completion of the training, participants will possess the skills necessary to conduct internal audits successfully according to AS9100D standards.
LEARNING OUTCOMES	Summarize the impact ISO 9001:2015 quality management principles have on AS9100 standards. Demonstrate an understanding of AS9100D requirements and intent ( Ex: AS/EN9100 D- Suppliers & Service providers for ASD industries; AS/EN9110C – Civil & Military aviation MROs and AS9120BWarehouses & Distributors for ASD Industries.) Identify the requirements applicable to an AS9100D internal auditor Show an ability to independently plan, prepare and execute an AS9100D internal audit based on ISO 19011, AS9101F and per other regulatory norms ( EASA, FAA, CAA, DGCA etc., ) Identify the tools to effectively form an audit team and conduct an audit meeting according to AS9100D Demonstrate an understanding of the process approach to achieve strategic and operational objectives Demonstrate an understanding of how risk-based thinking supports and improves the understanding and application of the process approach Organize documentation according to AS9100D to demonstrate effective planning, operation and control of processes Understand how to plan and manage a business to avoid potential nonconformities, analyze nonconformities that do occur, and take action to prevent recurrence of nonconformities
